And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands

CONCEPT
Survivors Foundation
The Russian military invasion into Ukraine, right after the COVID-19 epidemic, significantly increases the need for opportunities for the rehabilitation of affected citizens. The issue of readiness to respond to a tactical nuclear strike and the rehabilitation of victims of the consequences of such a strike is becoming especially crucial.
BACKGROUND
More than 35 years of experience in the rehabilitation of victims of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, accumulated by the National Scientific Center for Radiation Medicine (NSCRM) of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, is an invaluable resource for working with victims of the consequences of a nuclear strike.

INITIATIVE
The creation of the International Rehabilitation Center through the reconstruction of the NSCRM Rehabilitation Center will enable the rehabilitation of up to 4,000 patients per year affected by the consequences of nuclear accidents, COVID-19 and a potential nuclear strike. This is the fastest and most effective way to provide qualified assistance to a significant part of the victims.
IMPLEMENTATION
The NSCRM joined efforts to create an International Rehabilitation Center with Ukrainian and international companies ready to carry out design and construction work, as well as ensure the import of necessary medical equipment to Ukraine.
A Survivors Fund has been set up to ensure funding. The management of the Survivor Fund is entrusted to MOUCHEL-IRE

LOCATION
The International Rehabilitation Center will be located in the historical suburb of the city of Kyiv on the territory of a climatic resort northwest from the center of Kyiv.
