2020-2022
As of September 2022, more than 5 million cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in Ukraine.
A significant part of the population that has survived the disease has complications and needs additional rehabilitation measures.

2022
The armed invasion of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine led to significant casualties among the civilian population and the military, a huge number of wounded and injured.
From February 24 to September 25, the UN Monitoring Mission recorded 5,996 civilian deaths, including 382 children, and 8,848 were injured.
The actual figures are much higher, as the collection and verification of information in the areas affected by the fighting is still very difficult. In addition, many reports have not yet been confirmed. This concerns, for example, Mariupol (Donetsk region), Izyum (Kharkiv region), Lysychansk, Popasna and Severodonetsk (Luhansk region), where there are reports of numerous civilian casualties.
